The BIOCERAMAX line of biological filter media is
designed to eliminate nitrogen compounds from the
water by natural means. BIOCERAMAX 600 is made
of ceramic material, while BIOCERAMAX 1200 and
1600 are made of exceptionally durable sintered
glass. By providing ideal conditions for the growth
of nitrifying bacteria, they prevent the accumulation
of biological waste in the water.
